Ember Resources, a junior oil and gas company, rides for community support
In addition to supporting employees and the community in their endeavors to give back, Ember also has its own charity of the heart.
Ember Resources Inc. (and a predecessor company, Thunder Energy Inc.) has been involved in charity bike ride events since 2001. Ember has supported such charities as the Alberta Lung Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Alberta Cancer Society, the Canadian Cancer Society and the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
Ember teams have included staff members, corporate sponsors, friends and family, with as many as 33 riders joining up in a single year.
Since 2001, with the generosity of riders, their supporters and corporate donations, Ember has made contributions of $540,000 to various charities and has been the top fundraiser for many of the rides teams have participated in.
Ember would like to thank all of its sponsors and riders for supporting these worthy causes.
